Short for “Music And Gaming Festival,” MAGFest is a four day-long event dedicated to the appreciation of video game music, gaming of all types, and the gaming community.
The event runs 24 hours a day, and offers consoles, arcades, tabletop, LAN, live video game cover bands, chiptunes, vendors, guest speakers, and much much more.
What makes MAGFest unique is that it’s a non-profit event run by fans for fans.
There are no corporate sponsors, no over-crowded showfloors, and no top-secret-behind-closed-doors showings.
MAGFest is built from the ground up to focus on community and fan creations, which creates an environment that no other expo or convention can recreate.

Pokethon Revive marked a lot of firsts for the Pokethon team. For starters, it was the first marathon to be held in a hotel space, which made for accommodating more attendees a much simpler task. We also featured the Telefang games for the first time, a bootleg series under the Pokemon title run by our local expert, RacieB. This was the first marathon that we fundraised for Help Hope Live, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit, whose mission is to support community-based fundraising for people with unmet medical and related expenses due to cell and organ transplants or catastrophic injuries and illnesses. This marathon also brought back many of the Pokethon classics, including the third edition of Mr. Smith’s Soda Machine Suicide, and the PPP (Pokethon Pizza Party), where MC and Kampy order a pizza and conduct a very serious review of it in several categories. In the end, this one raised just over $15,000 for Help Hope Live, bringing our total amount raised past $50,000.

Anything Other Than Zeldathon is a livestreamed charity marathon that will give 100% of all donations to Help Hope Live. This marathon will begin September 29th, 2017 at 4PM Eastern Time on Twitch.
This marathon is the first Zeldathon to feature games that are not from The Legend of Zelda series. Fans will get to watch their favorite Zeldathon Team members play games from a variety of genres and series.
During the event, donors can unlock additional hours of the marathon. As time goes along, the cost to unlock an hour of the event will increase until the ultimate goal of 72 hours.
This marathon will hope to raise a grand total of $50,000 for Help Hope Live, a charitable organization that helps those affected by catastrophic injury or disease overcome the costs of their medical care. In addition to creating and supporting their own individual fundraisers, they will make emergency grants to those who need help the most urgently. More info about the charity can be found at http://helphopelive.org
